Lucy arrived at LCR extremely emaciated and very small for her age but a true survivor. Kidnapped from her mother at only one or two weeks, Lucy made it through 4-5 months of very substandard care and severe malnutrition in a village. Lucy was highly traumatized in her first months of life and had a very difficult time separating from her human ‘mother’ when she was dropped off. It took several days of intensive care and attention to convince her she could begin to trust her new home and ‘family’ at LCR.
Lucy’s wonderful personality make her a favorite at LCR! She is very funny and has a fantastic sense of humour, intentionally playing jokes to make everyone laugh. Although Lucy started out very shy and extremely particular about who she trusted, she has thrived in the safe and secure love and care of her surrogate Moms. She has a beautiful smile that often becomes a cheeky grin - especially when she is planning shenanigans! Lucy is always investigating new games and loves to explore her environment. She is tough and active but also sensitive and loving. Lucy has a lovely face and a sweet expression with big brown eyes and a loveable disposition!
